Coconut Oil is a food that has been getting an undeserved bad reputation. It is too bad that many people believe it is not a good fat. Coconut is one of the healthiest foods you can add to your diet. There is so many health benefits from it that I can’t think of them all at one time. Coconut oil is one of the most soothing, as well as nourishing things you can apply to your skin. It is used for losing weight, preventing heart disease, cancer, and  diabetes. It strengthens the immune system and beautifies the skin and hair. Coconut oil is cholesterol- and trans fat-free and rich in medium-chain “good fats” that doctors recommend.


Coconut Cures by Bruce Fife


Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is the brand I use. The way it is processed is essential to its taste, texture, color, and aroma. I know it is organic and has a wonderful taste. Not too strong when I am adding it to hot coffee or tea or cooking with it. A subtle flavor adds just the right amount. I use it when frying onions and mushrooms for my breakfast omelet or making oven fried chicken for supper. Every morning I add a teaspoon of coconut oil to my coffee and it makes me feel much better the whole day. I can’t explain it except to say after reading the above book and two others by Bruce Fife, N.D. I realized I  was experiencing the health benefits from it.
