My Kindle Fire!
Today marks the first day of my writing reviews for LupeShop. I am pretty excited about that! So I knew I had to write about a really awesome product to make the first post special. As I thought about it, I said to myself, “kat, what is the best product you have bought in this last year?” I did not have to think twice about it. It is without doubt……….the Kindle Fire!
The case that my husband bought for my Kindle Fire!
I am sure you have heard of the Kindle Fire, unless you are living out in the wilderness of Alaska. Even there though, I am sure you must have heard of the newest book reader. It is the most powerful of all, due to the fact that you can go online with it. Not only that! But you can download movies and mp3 music files to it! How awesome is that? Amazon Prime members (Prime is a membership on Amazon where you pay $79. a year and get 2 day shipping without paying extra for it, AND you can borrow 12 eBooks a year for FREE, not to forget, that you can download unlimited movies and television series to your kindle fire for……yes, I am going to say that F word again……..FREE!) really make out with the Kindle Fire!
White or black background makes it easy to see!
The Kindle Fire offers many benefits that no other reader comes even close to. My husband surprised me with mine last November and I haven’t looked back since. In fact, I was thinking that I can’t imagine what I did before I got it. I wanted one, but never thought he’d buy me one and not tell me. Here is my post about it on my blog last November, My New Kindle Fire. I didn’t know too much about it yet when I wrote that post. Now I do!
It only weighs 14.6 ounces!
I love how I can read books at night and not have a light on. Most of all, I can read longer because unlike paper books, my eyes feel no strain. Even at my age! You know how paperbacks get yellowed, and you have to really strain to see the words on the page? Even with a light on, I had trouble reading for very long. Now I can read for hours. The backlit screen can be adjust from bright to dim. I keep mine on the dimmest because it is too bright for my eyes. You can also adjust the size of the fonts easily so they are as big as you need.
The Kindle Fire is not heavy at all. I have seen where people say they are too heavy to hold for long periods. Not at all. Plus you can easily put it on your lap or a table to read. Of course, I read mine in bed! LOL I really can’t think of one bad thing to say about it. Still, after all this time. I highly recommend it!
UPDATE: My Kindle Fire is still working great for me after four years of continuous use. It has been replaced on Amazon though, by more than a few new models. This is the newest one and has the best reviews and is a bestseller at this time, December 2015, Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Disclosure: I write this blog based on my experiences of having bought and used the items reviewed here. Some of the links you may click or products I recommend may or may not compensate me for including them in my post. Be sure to read my disclosure page if you are concerned about that.
